Let’s get this out of the way, 4th of July is on Tuesday.
Many of you have likely already had your 4th of July celebrations over the weekend. But for those of you that still have your patriotic party hats on we have compiled a list of “can’t miss” events in the Sacramento, Elk Grove and The Bay Area. Pocket Area: Sactomofo 4th of July Parade
If you live in Sacramento, you have to know about Sactomofo! This is the mother of all food truck events organizer. We are so excited about this one. From 10am-2pm today at Garcia Bend Park you will find a parade of the best food trucks in the region. Below is a list of participating vendors and links to their menus. Our mouths are watering already!

Elk Grove Salutes to The Red, White and Blue
The City of Elk Grove always does it right when it comes to the patriotic festivities. Bring the kids out today between 4-10pm for a parade that will create lasting memories for you and your family. This 21st year of celebration for EG will include vendors, food trucks, roaming entertainment, a pie-eating contest, bike and stroller parade, Kids Zone, live entertainment and a fireworks show to top off the night. Admission is free, and parking is $10 per vehicle. We hope to see you there!

Sacramento Rivercats Fourth on the Field
If you have ever been to a RiverCats game, you know besides the killer games, amazing ballpark the highlight is the weekend fireworks show. Well, the team at Raley Field don’t hold back on Independence Day.
Kids can hang out in the Down on the Farm playground area while adults can take advantage of the Western Health Advantage Legacy Club, which will have alcoholic beverages, foosball and ping-pong tables, and dart boards. A local band will pump up the party with live music, and hot-dog-eating and push-up contests will get the crowd cheering before the pyrotechnics start at 9:30 p.m.
Fourth on the Field starts at 6:00 pm and goes until 10:00 pm. The Round Table Pizza Ticket Office will be open on the day of event at 2:00 p.m. General admission tickets are $10. Legacy Club tickets (21 and up) are $15 and include access to the Legacy Club where you’ll find foosball, ping-pong, darts, and alcoholic beverages. Children 12 and under are just $5.

Pleasant Hill 4th of July Celebration
Last but certainly not least, our pleasant hill office will likely be out celebrating at the College Park High School fireworks display. Make yourself comfortable in the grass at the soccer field and be prepared for a dazzling presentation of fireworks and live music. It all takes place right here in Pleasant Hill at College Park High School, located on Viking Drive just west of Contra Costa Blvd (between Morello & Contra Costa Blvd).
The Slow Hand BBQ Restaurant, located on Oak Park Blvd right here in Pleasant Hill, will be there cooking and serving up their famous BBQ treats. Be sure to bring your dental floss!
The fireworks begin at dusk, around 9:10 pm. Arrive early enough to enjoy the music prior to the fireworks, provided live by Fast Times. Admission is free.
